We were proposed to develop the interior design of a fifteen-room boutique hotel in the heart of Porto. Given the size of the project, we chose to fully customize it. From the graphic image to the design of the lamps and furniture, everything has been designed and conceptualized specifically for this hotel.
The project promoter already had one theme in mind – professions that had been lost in time. We then gathered fifteen that we found most interesting to explore and each room was customized with the profession that gives it a name – whether in textiles, panels, colours or unusual objects. The tour through the hotel culminates with the icing on the cake – the Vis-à-Vis, a rooftop bar with a unique view of Porto.
We were invested with maintaining a common trait throughout the project, where we sought to emphasize shapes and colours, spaces and areas that unify the concept, always keeping in mind the concern to facilitate the hotel operation and the well-being of guests.
